I took out the time to watch a video showcased on Ted.com talk called the gift. Stacey Kramer, is my new hero. She has inspired me in so many ways in with such a short message than you can imagine. This video was Feb2010 and posted Oct210. I had no idea what to expect when I chose to listen to what Stacey had to say. I though the maybe she found a secret to life that help encourage me and motivate me to move on. Well, she did.
Stacey was diagnosed with a tumor, which could have taken her life and put her in a position to become adversely depressed. Instead Stacey took her negative and turned it into a positive. We as individuals complain about so much and we can be so ungrateful for the life that we are given that we fail to realize that there are others in this world whose situation is worse off than there’s. Instead of crying and complaining about things that we have no control over we need to look to the future and look at the bigger picture. Turn that lemon in to sweet lemonade.
I found Stacey story to indeed be a gift to me a priceless one. Her I am complain and feeling down that I am a single mother struggling with three kids. Well life has it is up and down, the only way were going to succeed and see the big picture is if we take the negative or what we seem to be that negative and use it to motivate us and to encourage us through out our journey in life.
I would like to take the time to personally thank Stacey for her story as it has really made look at the big picture, If this lady can remain positive and hold her faith know that she has a illness that can possible take her away from her family for good. Then I am not different, I am a very religious person and Stacey just helped me regain my FAITH. No matter what my gift it I will use it a tool of motivation.
